Green House Press publishes poetry, literature, essays, and visual art by creators around the world as well as letters, features, and interviews with artists of all genres and backgrounds. Our literary journal Orange Quarterly is published in January, April, July, and October of each year.

Upon sending your submission through Submittable, you grant Green House Press the right to publish your work in perpetuity in all formats. If your work is selected for publication, you will have the opportunity to revise before it appears online and/or in print, and you will retain full copyright as author of the original work.

We are currently accepting submissions for the following categories: Orange Quarterly (poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, visual art) and the Green House Blog (interviews, features, letters).

Send up to seven images of visual artwork, including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, photography, etc. Original gifs and short videos (under five minutes) are also accepted. 
Send up to seven poems, all in one document totaling up to ten pages, single-spaced, with each poem appearing at the top of a new page. 
Send up to three stories or works of fiction in a single document totaling up to 10,000 words.
Send up to three essays or works of creative nonfiction in a single document totaling up to 10,000 words.
For publication consideration on the Green House Blog, send written, audio, and/or video interviews or one-on-one/group conversations with poets, writers, visual artists, musicians, filmmakers, performers, and other creators from around the world.


For publication consideration on the Green House Blog, send written, audio, and/or video features on artists from around the world and/or topics related to art, writing, music, poetics, film, performance, publishing, translation, media, and culture.
